OUR PROCESS

Throughout your Destination wedding or elopement, we are present to observe and notice. We document your day artfully- directing and guiding when necessary, but largely allowing moments to breathe and unfold without interference.

Delivered as a curated blend of color and thoughtful black-and-white (typically about a third of your gallery), our imagery is designed to feel both deeply personal and entirely timeless. Our cinematic films follow suit, with raw story-driven productions. Our ultimate aim is to create honest, beautiful reflections of your day and the people you love- photographs and films that serve as priceless memories while also standing alone as works of art.

While Calgary and the Canadian Rockies (Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, and Emerald Lake) are our home base, we capture destination weddings across Western Canada, the Pacific Northwest, and select international locations worldwide (such as the dramatic landscapes of Iceland). If your celebration involves a unique storyline, incredible cityscapes, or vast nature, we are ready to travel there with you.
We take care of all our own travel arrangements, including flights, lodging, rental cars, and scouting locations. Meaning you can focus entirely on enjoying your experience. Our destination wedding and elopement collections are highly customizable and largely bundle our travel expenses into one transparent, flat-rate fee, meaning there are never any surprise costs down the road.
Yes. As a husband-and-wife team, our coverage means you get both of us at every destination wedding. Working side-by-side allows us to capture your day effortlessly, putting an emphasis on a superlative wedding day experience.
Absolutely. We deliberately offer a unified photography and cinema package. Because we live and work together, we move in perfect synchronization on your wedding day. We ensure our documentary shooting styles, lighting choices, and final color editing are entirely unified, ensuring your film and photos feel like they belong to the very same story.
Before your wedding day, we will dedicate time to scouting your destination and the surrounding geography to create a timeline and plan locations. From our experience of capturing 300+ weddings, we have also found that working in novel, unseen spaces, can bring upon inspiration and creativity. We fully embrace the challenge of working and creating with the changing light and environment before us.
We embrace nature’s unpredictable elements (it's often where the magic happens). Whether it's a moody mist in Iceland or a sudden storm over an alpine lake in the mountains, we know how to protect the genuine spirit of the day. We always pack professional-grade, weather-sealed gear and adapt seamlessly to changing conditions, keeping the experience relaxed, intentional, and fun spirited.
We intentionally avoid stiff, forced posing. Instead, we merge editorial composition with a lightly directed, documentary-first approach. We will gently guide you into the most flattering light, but our real focus is capturing authentic interactions, spontaneous laughter, and honest emotion as your day naturally unfolds.
Yes. Having shot well over 300 weddings and planned our own, we know how overwhelming long-distance logistics can feel. We collaborate closely with you (and your wedding planner) to build a custom timeline that prioritizes the best natural lighting while protecting your experience of celebrating with your loved ones.
You will receive your full digital collection within 10 weeks of your wedding day, with a "sneak peek" gallery sent within 1 week so you can share your favorite moments right away. On average, we deliver approximately 100 high-resolution, individually edited images per hour of coverage. Our Highlight Films are between 5-10 mins in length.
We believe your love story deserves a tangible legacy, which is why we craft high-end, physical heirloom albums. We offer custom design work, archival-quality linen albums, alongside fine art quality prints meant to be passed down through generations.
