It was many years ago now, but shortly after our first date in a downtown english pub, we fell deeply in love - both with each other and photography. We live in Calgary with our equally sweet and curious/wild and crazy son.

When we're not exploring the Canadian Rocky Mountains, we're wandering up and down the city streets of Calgary or planning our next trip to somewhere new. We love the city but our hearts are with the great outdoors and nature's influence is sewn throughout our work.

Kendal got her start in photography while studying Art & Design at the University of Alberta. Before K+K, she worked as a Graphic Designer and Marketing Director. She has a love for long walks (seriously), funky architecture and interior design.

You should know (not really) - Kendal scores 100% on the Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue Test and can hang frames perfectly without measuring

Kevin always had a camera in hand when hiking through the Canadian Rockies, capturing landscapes and wildlife. He left behind a career working as a professional Biologist (he has his Masters in Biodiversity). Kevin has a deep appreciation for the beauty in nature and is ever curious about the world around him.

You should know (not really) - Kevin is 6’4 and whistles like a bird when happy
