Our Fine Art Documentary style means we don't treat your wedding like a stiff, staged commercial shoot, nor do we just stand back like passive bystanders. It truly is a balance and ultimately, we capture your day through a cinematic, story-driven lens. Kendal’s background in Art & Design helps us compose frames with clean lines, editorial details, and striking use of light, while still capturing the organic, raw moments as they naturally unfold. We won't make you pose in awkward, forced positions, instead we play off your natural energy and document the honest, unscripted emotion of your day.

Yes, always! Working as a husband-and-wife team is the core of our brand and our creative style. We work together as two primary photographers. And when doing photo + video together, we seamlessly integrate videography with the same high-end experience, adding an associate shooter to be a team of 3 as needed.

Yes, we do offer standalone photography or videography collections. We realize that you may be interested in photography only (or vice-versa). All of our collections retain our fine art documentary style. 

Trust us, almost everyone tells us they’re awkward in front of the camera before we shoot! Our approach is entirely relational. We hang out, laugh with your friends, and blend into your guest list so that by the time the ceremony starts, you hardly notice the lenses. When it’s time for couple portraits, we focus on connection and movement rather than static poses- giving you space to be vulnerable and real. No performance required.

Every single photograph and film is meticulously edited in-house by the two of us. We have a deep appreciation for the true, raw beauty of nature. We strictly avoid heavy, unnatural filters or fleeting editing trends that will look dated in five years. We stick to nature's serene color palette - awe inspiring, rich, and timeless. We aim for our work to look exactly the way the day felt.

After 10+ years of experience, we know the weather in Calgary can change quickly. We come fully prepared for rain, wind, or sudden flurries. Over the years, we’ve found that moody skies, mist, and dramatic weather often make for the most cinematic, fine-art photographs and film. We always have backup indoor locations in mind just in-case (i.e. lightning and hail), and bring the right gear to ensure the elements only add to your story, never take away from it.

Absolutely. Our service goes far beyond just showing up on the wedding day. Because planning a wedding in Calgary can be complex, we provide guidance from day one. We assist you in building a custom, relaxed timeline with consideration for the best city lighting, recommend a curated list of trusted local vendors (florists, officiants, hair and makeup artists), and help you select locations that match your accessibility, comfort, and aesthetic vision.

We believe your love story deserves a tangible legacy, which is why we craft high-end, physical heirloom albums. We offer custom design work, archival-quality linen albums, alongside fine art quality prints meant to be passed down through generations. For digital delivery, we provide a curated "sneak peek" gallery within days of your wedding so you can relive your celebration immediately. Your final edited fine-art gallery and cinematic film is delivered via a personal online archive within our 10 weeks of your wedding date.

Yes! We are based in Calgary and love working in the city but our love for the mountains is strong. We spend a massive portion of our season capturing love stories in the Canadian Rockies (Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, Yoho, and Kananaskis.) We also travel throughout western Canada, and internationally for select destination weddings and elopements. When travelling, we handle all of our own travel logistics seamlessly, ensuring you get the exact same level of consistent, high-end artistry and service, no matter where you choose to say your vows.
